Switching to Kelly’s is Easy

If you already have propane on your property but are looking for a new supplier, switching to Kelly’s Propane is easy.

Our installation team will visit your property to determine how best to ensure your new propane will meet building code requirements. We will also discuss your needs such as how many appliances will be connected and how regularly you will be using them. Once we have determined your needs we can disconnect your previous supplier’s tank and replace it with one of our own. You will need to schedule your previous supplier to retrieve their tank when it is convenient for you.

Installing a Larger Tank

If you have already been enjoying the many benefits of propane and want to convert more of your appliances you may need a larger tank.

A single tank can supply multiple appliances so there is no need to litter your property with many tanks. Kellys’ can help you review your usage and determine what you need to meet your demand. This may include removing an old tank and replacing it with a larger capacity one.

If you are installing new propane-powered appliances, our trusted Authorized Service Partners can facilitate the installation of:

  • Hot water heaters
  • Furnaces
  • Fireplaces
  • Cooktops
  • Dryers
  • Pool and spa heaters
  • Space heaters
  • Generators

Contact us and we’ll talk about your propane installation needs.

Oil and Propane Has Never Been More Convenient

At Kelly’s Propane, you decide when you’d like your propane delivered or leave the details to us. With our automatic propane delivery service, we take responsibility for ensuring you never run out of fuel. Alternatively, you can choose to have propane delivered on a prearranged schedule that meets your requirements. Or, you can just call to schedule deliveries as you need them. You don’t need to be home for our drivers to deliver your propane and there are no fees for regular deliveries.

How Remote Monitoring Works

Remote monitoring uses leading-edge satellite-based technology we can track the amount of propane remaining in your propane tanks.

A monitor installed on your tank automatically and regularly transmits data via satellite to a secure website. This data is only accessible to you and our dispatch delivery team. Using this accurate, up to the minute information, we can schedule propane deliveries to achieve maximum efficiency. This reduces the number of trips to, and from, your property and ensures you are adequately supplied.

This technology ensures peace of mind for absentee homeowners and cottagers who are not on-site to monitor their tank levels in-person. Contact our sales team to learn more.

All Equipment, New or Old, Requires Annual Maintenance & Inspections

Poorly-maintained equipment can break down at the worst time. Let one of our many Authorized Service Partners perform this critical service for you. Have your tanks and appliances serviced before winter arrives.

At Kelly’s Propane, we are dedicated to the safety of its customers. We will help them to comply with all propane storage and handling regulations.

Ontario residents must comply with the CAN/CSA B149.2 Propane Storage and Handling Code and the CAN/CSA B149.1 Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code. The legislation is designed to ensure that all systems meet the propane gas code requirements and are in safe working condition. In Ontario, inspections need to be done at least every 10 years or when an additional appliance is added.

Contact us to arrange an inspection of:

  • Propane lines
  • Propane-fueled appliances to ensure that they’re operating and venting properly
  • Regulators, joints and fittings

If you’re an existing propane user who has installed additional propane equipment, contact us and we will book you in for a free inspection. Inspection times vary depending on the number of appliances and the size of the installation. Normally, we can complete most inspections in less than 2 hours.

Following your inspection, your Kelly’s Propane rep will review the results with you and answer any questions you might have. We’ll also keep a record of your inspection on file.

Regular maintenance & inspections are crucial to ensuring the long life and safety of your propane supply. You can also reference this code by contacting the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA).

Are You Moving?

If you have sold your property and have a firm closing date, these are the steps you need to take regarding your propane delivery and service:
  1. Provide us with your new address, or your temporary forwarding address if there is one, and a contact phone number. If your email address is changing, send us that too.
  2. Let us know if there needs to be a final propane top-up when the sale of your home closes, and let us know who your lawyer is so we can assist in transferring the rental equipment and discuss the final adjustments. With the help of your and the purchaser’s lawyer, we can ensure that the home remains heated, especially during the winter months.
  3. Ask about outstanding charges for cylinder rental, previous fills or other related charges.
  4. Let your lawyer know that you have propane services on the property.
  5. Through your lawyer, try to provide us with the new owner’s contact information so we can try to ensure zero interruption of service.
If you need to transfer your propane service to a new property:
  1. Provide us with the location of your new home and the date you take possession.
  2. Let us know what you’ll be using propane for. Furnace? Kitchen appliances? Hot water heater?
  3. Let us know if there’s already Kelly’s Propane equipment on the property.
  4. Tell us what delivery schedule you’d like to implement and your preferred method of payment.
